Key Laboratories
Director: Ning Baiqi The Beijing National Observatory of Space Environment (BNOSE) aims to study multi-scale disturbances of the space environment and how they are coupled to the geomagnetic field. BNOSE also studies the middle and upper atmosphere and ionosphere over China, by means of multi-instrument observations. The main research interests of BNOSE focus on new methods in geospace environment observation technology and their related scientific data analysis, addressing key scientific questions in space physics, and space weather. Particular efforts are also being made on behalf of BNOSE to achieve international sharing and broader utilization of scientific data. BNOSE plays an important role in making significant contributions toward the development of ground-based observation networks for space environment research over China. |
