A foreign affairs meeting was held at the IGGCAS on December 16th, the director of the institute, professor Zhu Rixiang, the vice director, professor Wu Fuyuan, and the assistant director, professor Xu Zhifang, attended the meeting.

The IGGCAS is now involved in a wide range of international research collaborations. Many foreign scientists and students are encouraged to carry out collaborations with researchers from our institute, and six who are launching long-term collaborations participated the meeting. Professor Zhu expressed his welcome to them and wished them a happy life at the institute. The foreign scientists and students introduced themselves respectively and expressed their willingness to continue collaborations. After the meeting, they paid a visit to some laboratories accompanied by the assistant director, Professor Xu Zhifang, and Mr. Che JianGuo, who is in charge of foreign affairs.
