Professor XIAO Wenjiao, Professor SUN Jimin and Professor GAO Jun win the second prize of National Natural Science Award of the year 2012 due to their research project on central Asia hyperplasia orogeny and environment effects.

The prize is granted in National Science and Technology Awards of the year 2012 Conference held at Great Hall on January 18, 2013.

At the same time, Vice Professor Ma Fengshan takes part in the project on comprehensive technology of Jinchuan Nickel mine high stress continuous mining, which wins the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award of the year 2012.
