LIN Yangting Elected to Fellow of the Meteoritical SocietyProfessor LIN Yangting was elected to Fellow of the Meteoritical Society at 75th annual meeting in 2012. The Meteoritical Society is a non-profit scholarly organization founded in 1933 to promote the study of extraterrestrial materials, including meteorites and space mission returned samples, and their history. Fellows are members who have distinguished themselves in meteoritics or allied sciences. Presently, 1% of the membership may be elected as new Fellows by the Council each even-numbered year.
