The Sino-Germany Workshop held on Monitoring and Early Warning of Geohazard under Global Climate Changes

The Sino-Germany workshop was held about monitoring and early warning of geohazard under global climate changes on September 13-16, 2012, at IGGCAS.

The Sino-Germany seminar is designed under the background of global climate change and frequent world geological disasters, to explore the potential relevance of climate change intensifies and geological disasters, to clarify the key scientific and technological issues on geological disaster risk assessment and disaster prevention and mitigation, and to promote the process of international cooperation in the area of geological disaster monitoring and early warning. These works will provide strong scientific and technological support for the national disaster prevention and mitigation.

The workshop is funded by the Sino-Germany Science Center of National Natural Science Foundation.
