---Prediction and Detection of Hidden Resources Oriented by state needs and aimed at the issue "positioning prediction of concealed deposits", the group has innovated ideas to carry on the modeling works of deposit precidtions in different tectonic settings and covers at home and abroad, to develop effective metallogenic predictive theories and prospecting techniques, and has made great achievements. 1. Technological researches and developments: Seismic exploration system for metallic deposits(Liang Guanghe), MT exploration and deep metallogenic informamation extraction techniques (Zhang Baolin) 2. Theoreatical researches: deformation structural geology, fluid structural geology, tectonics and metallogeny, new continental drift tectonics, new fluid genetic mechanism for earthquakes and mineralization (Xu Xingwang, Liang Guanghe, Zhang Baolin) 3. Applications and demonstrations of research results: Large-scale positioning predictions and engineering tests of major type metallic and potash deposits in different tectonic settings and covers at home and abroad (Zhang Baolin, Liang Guanghe, XU Xingwang)
