The laboratory focuses on studying the past and current state of the Earth’s deep interior (core and mantle), as well as the influence of deep Earth systems on surface processes. The laboratory’s multi-disciplinary studies include key topics such as seismology, geo- and paleomagnetism, geochemistry, computer and experimental simulations, and comparative planetary sciences.
