Professor Keke Zhang
University of Exeter, United Kingdom
The primary aim of the 2nd International Symposium is to bring scientists in different disciplines—experimental, observational, theoretical and numerical—together for further understanding the origin, structure and variations of the Earth’s and planetary magnetic fields. We invite contributions to this multidisciplinary symposium; topics will include the behaviour of the Earth’s ancient and current magnetic fields, the methodologies and theories of paleomagnetic studies, the dynamics of the Earth’s and planetary deep interior, interactions of the core and lower mantle, and the theories and numerical simulations of the Earth’s planetary dynamos. The symposium would provide a stimulating interaction between researchers in various areas of the subject. There will be about 30 invited talks covering all the major areas of the subject.
There will be no registration fee.
