Professor CHEN Daizhao is invited to serve as Associate Editor of international journal Facies by Chief Editor Maurice Tucker. The journal was founded by German famous Geologist Erik Flügel in 1979, which is now published by Springer Company; and its Impact Factor is 1.771 in 2012.  

The journal pays special attention of the research results on geology paleontology, ecology, basin evolution, sedimentology (including diagenesis and geochemistry) and the environmental impact by life on Earth.
