French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) China Representative Office visited biological mineralization and Nanostructures Sino-French Joint Laboratory at IGG, CAS on August 23, 2011 .

Dr. Patrick Nedellec, CNRS China Representative Office director, gave a presentation on cooperation framework and current situation between French National Centre for Scientific Research and Chinese Academy of Sciences. Professor PAN Yongxin introduced the progress on biological mineralization made by the joint laboratory. The two sides discussed further development of the joint laboratory.
