IGGCAS held the 2023 Annual Conference on Technology and Application on January 19, 2024 in the lecture hall. A total of more than 120 scientists and engineers attended the meeting.

The meeting included three parts: annual summary report, special invited report and technical exchange report. WANG Zhongxing, director of the IGGCAS Public Technology Center, and ZHANG Wenxiu, deputy director of CAS Engineering Laboratory for Deep Resources Equipment and Technology, respectively made a summary of the annual work of the department. Professor HUANG Fang from the University of Science and Technology of China, Prof. LIU Guoqiang from the Institute of Electrical Engineering CAS, and senior engineer Yang Yang from the Institute of Physics CAS gave presentations entitled "Metal stable Isotope Analysis Technique", "Electromagnetic Field Momentum Reciprocity Theorem and Electromagnetic Imaging" and "Microraman spectroscopy test under comprehensive conditions" respectively.

In the technical exchange session of the annual meeting, a total of 10 scientists and engineers gave special reports, and had discussions with participants.
