To enhance cooperation and collaboration among the key laboratories in the field of earth science，more effectively communicate their experience and stimulate their development, the first solid earth science academic conference was held in our institute from 20-22 February, 2009, as proposed by the State Key Laboratory of Lithospheric Evolution.

       The main related executive departments of the national government paid considerable attention to this conference, and   leaders from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the CAS, the Ministry of Land Resources, and the Ministry of Education attended the conference and made speeches.

       Listed below are the key laboratories attending this conference: the State Key Laboratory for Mineral Deposits Research (Nanjing University), State Key Laboratory of Ore Deposit Geochemistry (Institute of Geochemistry, Chinese Academy of Sciences), State Key Laboratory of Geological Processes and Mineral Resources (China University of Geosciences), Key Laboratory of Isotope Geochronology and Geochemistry (Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry), Key Laboratory of Crust-Mantle Materials and Environments (University of Science and Technology of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences), Key Laboratory of Orogenic Belts and Crustal Evolution( Peking University).
